Gant: there are two types of gant, the Marsh Gant and the Jungle Gant, both are birds, but the Marsh Gant has long legs and a piping cry (like and Earth Curlew) and the Jungle Gant inhabits the Schendi Rainforest.

Giani: a large mammal that inhabits the Schendi Rainforest.

Gim: there are three types of Gim Horned (small and owl-like inhabiting forests of Northern Gor), Lang (insectivorous bird that inhabits the Schendi Rainforest), and Yellow (similar to horned gim, but yellow in color, inhabits the Schendi Rainforest).

Gint: a tiny freshwater fish that inhabits the rivers of the Schendi Rainforest, it is amphibious and capable of walking on its pectoral fins and is often found with the Tharlarion.

Giant Gint: a large freshwater fish found in Western Gor, has a 4 spined dorsal fin and is also amphibious and capable of walking on its pectoral fins.

Golden Beetle: an insect that is about the size of a rhinoceros that lives below the Priest King's Nest, its prey is the Priest Kings.

Hook-Billed Gort: a carnivorous hunting bird that inhabits the Schendi Rainforest.

Grub Borer: an insectivorous bird that inhabits the Schendi Rainforest.

Grunt: a large carnivorous, salt-water fish that inhabits Thassa and is similar to the Earth Shark - is attracted by blood. There is also the Blue variety that is a small, voracious, carnivorous, freshwater fish, it is also attracted by blood.

Gur: this is a thin white honey-like liquid secreted in the nest by a large, grey, domesticated arthropod that feeds on Sim plants

Herlit: Carnivorous, Gorean Eagle its feathers are yellow but with black tips, it is also known as the Sun-Striker and it inhabits the Barrens.

Hinti: small flea-like insects, which are not parasites like fleas.

Hith: huge python-like snake.

Hurt: a kangaroo-like animal whose wool is used for cloth.

Kaiila: a large carnivorous mammal with a long neck and silky fur. It can be domesticated for riding although it has a viscous temper. In Tahari it's hair is used for rope.

Kailiauk: a stocky ruminant that is tawny with red and brown markings on haunches, it has 3 horns.

Kur: a large furred mammal having four legs, it can stand upright or on all fours, they are extremely strong and are carnivorous and are capable of speech.

Larl: a large, carnivorous, tawny feline that is tawny red or black in color. The Larl has a black mane and is similar to an Earth Lion.

Lelt: a small blindfish, which is white and has long fins. It swims slowly and is the main prey of the salt shark. It inhabots the brine pits at Klima in the Tah.

Lit: There are two types of Lit, the common and the crested they are both found in the Schendi Rainforest.

Mamba: a large, predatory river tharlarion that inhabits the rivers of the Schendi Rainforest, they are similar to the Earth crocodile.

Mindar: a short-winged yellow and red bird inhabiting the Schendi Rainforest.

Ost: a tiny orange snake, it's venom causes a rapid (a few ehn) painful death. The Ost that inhabits the Schendi Rainforest is red with black stripes.

Salt Shark: a long bodied carnivorous fish that inhabits the Brine Pits of Klima in Tah.

Slee: a rodent that inhabits the Schendi Rainforest.

Sleen: a ferocious feline having 6 legs, there are four types of Sleen, the praire sleen (tawny in color), the forest sleen (black or brown in color), the aquatic sea sleen and the white snow sleen (this type can be domesticated for herding and tracking).

Slime Worm: a long, slow, blind worm inhabiting the cave below the Nest of the Priest-Kings and scavenges the remains of the prey of the Golden Beetle.

Swamp Spiders: man-sized arachnids that inhabit the swamps near the City of Ar, and communicate in Gorean via translators worn around their abdomens. Their fibre know as Cur-lon Fiber is used in the textile mills of Ar.
